What we collect, why, and what we do with it. Written to be readable.

Two things: (1) analytics data through Google Analytics 4 to understand which rankings and articles get read, and (2) contact information you submit through our quote request form.
When you submit a quote request, we route your name, email, procedure of interest, preferred destination, timeline, and any notes to a verified clinic in your chosen destination. We use the "Source" field to track which article referred you (so we can measure which content actually helps patients). We do not sell your contact information. We do not share it with parties other than the specific clinic(s) fulfilling your quote.
Google Analytics 4 collects anonymized data about which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, and where they came from. We use this to prioritize which rankings to update and which topics to write about next. GA4 does not receive your quote form submissions — those are handled separately through a Google Apps Script endpoint.
We use analytics cookies through GA4. We do not use advertising cookies. We do not sell or share advertising data because we don't sell advertising.
We don't collect medical records, treatment history, insurance information, or any protected health information (PHI) beyond what you voluntarily put in the "notes" field of the quote request form. Please don't put PHI in that field either — the safe channel for medical history is direct communication with the clinic after they contact you.
Our quote form uses Google Apps Script for form processing. Our analytics uses Google Analytics 4. Our fonts load from Google Fonts. Google's privacy policies apply to these services.
You can request deletion of your quote submission at any time by emailing andy@colombiamedical.co. We'll delete your submission from our records and notify the clinic to do the same. GA4 data is anonymized and cannot be linked back to you personally.
This site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We'll update this policy if practices change. Meaningful changes will be noted at the top with a new "last updated" date.
